Day 2: Christmas Candy!

Day 2 of the Arena of Man 12 Days of Christmas Traditions brings you the tradition of making Christmas candy or cookies with your family. There are a ton of options out there. Simply search “Christmas Candy Recipe” on the web and you’ll find all sorts of options. The pictures come from my kitchen table where my girls and I made chocolate covered peanut butter balls a couple of nights ago. We make these and a variety of others throughout December, and its always a fun time.

Don’t overthink this one. Even if you are a bit intimidated by making candy, you can make a great memory with your family by simply buying a roll of Christmas cookie dough, some icing, sprinkles and candy from the baking aisle at the grocery and have a blast.

Remember, these traditions exist to create experiences that strengthen your family, and as a husband and father, you need to lead in these efforts. Below, you’ll find the recipe for the candy we made. Step into the arena and give it a try.

Comment below and let me know what you make during this season.
